There are numerous ways to find what your looking for in the Library Catalogue, here's how:
Enter what you are looking for into the search field above and press the Search button. You can limit your search to Title, Author, Subject or Classmark by using the accompanying drop down list, or, to search for print or electronic journals only click the checkbox beneath the search bar. This search bar will always be available throughout the catalogue at the top of the page.
For more advanced searches of the Library Catalogue use the Advanced Search form.
Use these headings to get a broad overview of the Library's collections - please note they provide long lists of results. These options can also be used after a search to limit the set of results you get.
Further to the enhancements made at the end of September, additional features have now been added, including dates in the author facet, better information display on access for electronic resources, and additional quick links. A number of bugs and clarifications have also been fixed. We shall be examining possible improvements to relevancy in searching over the coming months, so please send examples of good and bad relevancy in your searches via the feedback form: the more evidence we have the more straightforward it will be to improve searching.
